Amazing in-laws, lemon bars...sigh, your life is pretty sweet! You also make okra look great - which I would have normally considered impossible!

Sanne- Thank you! We are planning on eating the pickled okra just as snacks, perhaps on the side of a sandwich or something, kind of like we would a pickle. I could reuse jam jars (and only buy the sealing lid) if I had enough....but I don't. I plan on reusing all these jars once the okra is eaten. :)

Lovely photos. What do you use the okra for?
And why do you buy canning jars, when you can reuse cleaned empty jam jars? Or is it just in Denmark we reuse everything? :)

totally understand about the take out thing. Ive been back in Dublin now for nearly a week now, and finally made a homemade meal last night that didnt require opening a jar and pous and heat (at least Andrea is happy he gets his Pasta). I miss you And glad that we got to hang out more!!! MUAH!

I kept checking back! I think if I just did my blogging/website stuff I'd be fine. I waste a ton of time when I start surfing around the web to non related sites, silly. The Internet "has revolutionized procrastination"

I know exactly what you mean. I'm really trying to cut back as well. There's so much more to life! That being said, Welcome back!
