Friday Favorites

Here we are again, my dear friend Friday.

I am looking forward to this weekend. I have only been to one thrift store this week (with no luck!), and am really excited to do some early morning hunting (and have a little alone time). Fingers crossed I hit jackpot, and you do too!

Here are a handful of fun reads from this week.

A free 40s pullover knitting pattern from Subversive Femme.

So excited that Jenny (formerly Frecklewonder) started blogging again at Mikasa Su Casa.

Holy moly. Look at this house! The house is stunning, and it is surrounded by trees! Mid Century cabin style, perfect for me!

This Spaghetti Squash Curry with Roasted Chickpeas, sounds like the perfect fall dinner.

Clam chowder was my all time favorite food as a little girl (weird, because I HATED seafood). Now that I am vegetarian I really miss it. I am so excited to try this vegan version; New England Glam Chowder.

This beginners guide to vintage sewing patterns has some great information for those who haven’t worked with them before. Part one and part two.

I love this post about a meltdown at Disneyland.

Happy Friday, happy hunting, happy weekend, happy day!

Cedar, thanks for posting about Mikasa Su Casa! I used to follow Frecklewonder and was so bummed when Jenny stopped writing.
