One of our favorite places to eat while we are in Palm Springs is King’s Highway at the Ace Hotel. It’s a bit more hip than the places we usually dine, but it is in the most fabulous building (an old Denny’s). Places just don’t look like this anymore!

We actually ended up going twice this time, once for breakfast and the following day for dinner with friends. On this day I had the Chilaquiles for breakfast alongside a Bloody Mary. Russ had the gravlax and bagel and Lucy had a plate of their Parmesan hash browns. I love that they use local and seasonal ingredients in most of their food (their website says “whenever we can”, but it is the middle of the dessert and lettuce doesn’t grow in July!) The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable.
