Things have been coming along this summer. Lucy has been kind enough to let me enjoy some ‘extracurricular’ activities such as knitting. Actually, I do the majority of it after she goes to bed, with a nice big glass of wine and my feet propped up on the coffee table, and either Dateline or Lost on the television. Every now and then though she will allow me to do a little bit in her company.
I have knitted five or six of these little tops (Lucy’s included) in the past three months. So many babies are on their way, my needles have been on fire. I have about a month or so off from working on baby gifts (I’m telling you, SO many babies), and I have been working ferociously on my cowichan. I am getting so close to finishing. I have two major pieces, which are both halfway done, that need to be completed, then I just need to stitch it all together. I can’t wait. It will be my biggest knitting project to date.
I am really looking forward to finishing, I have been itching to do some sewing. I have so many incomplete projects and so many that I want to start. I really want to start crossing things off my ever-growing list. First up will be to complete the doll clothes I started for Lucy waaaay back when I was pregnant, sheesh.
Well, I hope you are all doing well, I feel so disconnected when I do these sporadic, once a week blog posts.

You should do your Friday favorites again Cedar!!!

I have been thinking about bringing that feature back, but I wasn’t really sure if people were into it. Thanks! I won’t have one for tomorrow, but I will try to get one put together for next Friday.
