I wasn’t kidding yesterday when I said I was knitting a big comfy winter sweater. I had originally thought that I would start working on this cowichan sweater now so that I would be able to put it to use upon finishing it, I mean it is a huge sweater, it should take me months and months of hard work slaving over my needles. This, however, is the back piece and it is nearly done. I started knitting it four days ago and haven’t really worked all that hard on it, just a few hours here and there.
Lately I have been working so regularly with the tiny needles and fingering weight yarn for baby clothes, that I just seem to be flying with this bulky yarn and size 11 needles. I could slow down and work on other things, but this is such a fun knit. I guess it will be folded up and stored on the shelf until the weather finally cools.
