I just got this dress last week, and absolutely love it–I actually wore it two days in a row! Yesterday I wore it with a petticoat, though I didn’t realize how badly the elastic needs to be replaced, so I went without it today.

It’s been a long time since I did any outfit posts, and quite honestly most of it has to do with how much my body has changed. I have been feeling really blah about the few clothes that fit and/or are conducive to nursing the babe. I am working on changing that. I have a bunch of new (to me) vintage patterns and fabric waiting to be turned into beautiful clothes. As soon as my sewing machine is finished being repaired it’s on!

Here are some pictures from our fun little family outing. We spent the afternoon getting margaritas, visiting the thrift store, browsing the antique shops, and running in the grass at the park. I could not ask for a more perfect day.
