Swimming and Thrifting

By Cedar | August 30, 2011

Here are some shots from our very relaxing weekend. Saturday we went thrifting, where I found all sorts of great things (and only spent $9!). Sunday I made us a fig and peach cobbler for breakfast (in my newly thrifted pink Pyrex) before we went over to my in-law’s house to take Lucy swimming.

I am working on some long blog posts and am hoping to get them up later this week. If I don’t get them posted it is probably because I am busy playing with Lucy. I hope you understand. She has been such a joy lately. Her napping, though still attached to me is becoming more regular again. I must say I feel 150% times better than when she doesn’t nap.

I love the matching polka dot bathing suits! My Adelaide doesn’t sleep well at night, and I always take her morning nap with her. If I don’t, I feel really tired and sluggish all day. Unfortunately, I go back to work in October so morning naps will be reduced to weekends only (and will be so sweet!). I don’t know how I’ll manage. Probably 8pm bedtimes.
