Link Love

By Cedar | August 19, 2011

Happy Friday! I saw so much neat stuff around the web this past week, I thought I would share some of my favorite links. Enjoy your weekend!

Here is a darling tutorial on how to make a self zipping coin purse.

Make homemade mustard. You know that is what I will be doing this weekend.

It is tomato season, and though my one tomato plant this year isn’t producing quite the bounty I had last year, I still plan to use many of these tips; five ways to preserve small tomatoes.

Elsie of A Beautiful Mess posted this really helpful post–5 Tips for Better Self Portraits.

These homemade baby shoes are darling. If I ever have any free time again I would love to make a pair for Lucy.

Homemade sassafrass root beer. Yes please!

These felt PB&J jars are pretty much the cutest thing ever.

My friend Gina wrote this post on cloth diapering on a budget. Great tips for anyone who is looking into cloth diapering.

I love these DIY Flavored Syrups. I really must try this.

I made this peanut butter and banana smoothie for breakfast yesterday morning, and it was super delicious (and shhh, but it was healthy too!).

BTW, tried the PB banana smoothie this morning and it was DELISH! I added a scoop of Designer’s Whey Protein too. I’m going to look for some the the sassafrass roots today!
