Week 37

By Cedar | April 12, 2011

Well we are completely moved out of the old apartment. It has been a wild and crazy week, and I am so thankful for all the help we received from both of our families. I have been working on unpacking for a few days now, but with this big massive belly it is a bit harder than previous moves to get everything put away in a timely manner. I just hope that we can finish baby’s nursery before she arrives! It is really crazy to think that I am now full term, and she really could arrive at any time. I just pray that she isn’t one of those fashionably late babies that comes two weeks after the due date. I don’t know how much longer I can go on like this, sleeping has become very uncomfortable and difficult!

Sorry for the lack of posts lately! Now that we are moved in I plan on posting a lot more regularly.

I know that feeling well, no matter how much you tell yourself not to get your hopes up; you can’t help but feel disappointed every morning when you’re still pregnant! I had a lot of early contractions with my baby Elvis, so I expected him early; but….he was not early! (I won’t tell you when he arrived!). Moving is hard, don’t push yourself; the nursery doesn’t have to be ready, since you’ll probably want the baby close to you for the first several weeks anyway. In fact; I didn’t set up Elvis’ nursery until he was 4 months old, since he was in our room in a bassinette until then. Anything you can do right now to get some sleep is important. I got some great advice from my midwives; I won’t tell you, because it’s controversial; but it rhymes with “nalf a class of twine”.

Enjoy these last few weeks (I know how hard that is).

awww, you look so cute! I hope you guys love your new place! I hope that mine isn’t late too. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to be able to go all night without having to make a waddling dash to the bathroom. Rolling over is nearly impossible! *lol* We’re almost there!!!!

Brandi- Haha! Wine (or twine) sounds so amazing right now. So far though I don’t think I am at a point where I *need* it. Maybe in a week or so!

Brittany- Thank you! I forget what is your due date? I think you are a week ahead of me or so…? (My DD is April 30)
