Rings and Rose Cupcakes

I almost never buy anything clothing/accessory related from a ‘regular’ store (other than undergarments of course!). Nearly every item in my closet (and jewelry box) is either hand me downs, from a thrift store, or from an estate sale. I love going to stores like Anthropologie and H&M to browse and get ideas or inspiration before I head to the thrift store. Besides not really having the budget to buy all my clothes from these stores (or vintage shops), I like that the things I find in the second hand shops are more one of a kind.

Yesterday was different however. I found this set of (four) rings in H&M. I just love forest animals, so I knew right away that I HAD to have these. Along with my favorite two below there is also a fox and an owl.

Earlier today I was browsing the Williams-Sonoma website when I came across this recipe for rose and vanilla cupcakes. Obviously mine look horrible compared to the ones on the site (and I had no pistachios to top them with), but they are still quite delicious. I really need to work on my cake decorating skills.

I think only you can pull off wearing a ring with a deer (antlers and all) on it.

I wish Danish H&M had these rings too, I would love to own them. I have a forrest set, bracelet, necklace and earrings, and the rings would match perfectly. Perhaps, they get them later. Beautiful nails. :)
