Friday’s Black Dress
Happy Friday! I am so glad the weekend is here, and so happy at how fast this short week flew by. After last week’s busy schedule both Russ and I decided we need to keep it very mellow. I met with my friend Alison at the gym this morning, and we talked about maybe doing a simple dinner and movie night for a little fun. Sounds like a good plan to me– and my pocketbook!
While it is still quite hot here, it cooled down a few degrees today. Enough in fact that I was able to pull out one of my millions of black dresses. I have a serious black dress obsession. I know, black can be a bit boring on its own, but it is so easy to mix and match with colors and prints to spruce it up. Well this is today’s outfit…
This is actually the first time I have ever worn this dress. I inherited it about six months ago from my cousin, along with several other vintage items, when she was moving. The details on the dress are so fabulous.
